DETAIL ITINERARY

 

Day 01: Hanoi arrive (D)
Arrive Noi Bai airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel, relaxing. Evening transfer to a local restaurant for a welcome dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi city tour (B, L)
Today we have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas; Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Our city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minhs Mausoleum and stilt house); the Presidential Palace; the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Old Quarter; the Temple of Literature; West Lake; the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the citys museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). In the evening enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance — a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
In the morning we depart Hanoi for Halong Bay. When we are there we cruise in this secluded bay, marveling at 3000 limestone peaks that emerge from the emerald water. We have opportunity to visit spectacular limestone cave, swim from our boat, and especially we can do kayaking to explore the hidden charm part of the bay. Overnight on Junk Cruise. 
Day 04: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Da Nang - Hoi An (Brunch)
In the morning we do some more kayaking to explore Luon cave and from here we are kayaking toward Turtle islet, Human Head islet, and the Saddle islet. After having lunch on boat we will leave Halong for Hanoi. Stop over at Bac Ninh Province to have more knowledge of Vietnamese’s history and culture. You are welcome at Dinh Bang Village: take some minutes transfer by horse drawn carriage or ox cart to Do temple for visiting. This temple was building during the Le Dynasty and has been altered several times since. The major reconstruction took place under the reign of Le Trung Hung in the 17th century. And then you enjoy traditional music show “Quan Ho” or called Quan Ho Folk song. We transfer directly to the airport for the flight to Da Nang then go to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 05: Hoi An city - My Son holly land (B, L)
This morning, we will visit My Son, it is located 69 km southwest of Da Nang, was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty. My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century. Their religion was primarily derived from Indian Hinduism. My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam. The complex is comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the second century. My Son Sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 70 architectural works. They include temples and towers that connect to each other with complicated red brick designs. The main component of the Cham architectural design is the tower, built to reflect the divinity of the king.
Afternoon, we will start walking tour around the ancient town to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 06: Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
This morning we will take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, upon arrival we will visit to the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that we will visit War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. We also stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get good shots for our memory of the big, modern city of Vietnam. Our delicious lunch will be served at a nice restaurant in the central city. After lunch time; we continue our city tour with visits to Cho Lon market & then to Ben Thanh market - here we can experience our Vietnamese Southern daily life. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 07: to Ho chi Minh - Mekong Delta (My Tho) (B, L)
8.30 we start the trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Vietnams rice basket, the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Next we will have a boat ride on the Mekong, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. We return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 08: Ho Chi Minh departure (B)
Free at the leisure until you are transferred to Tan Son Nhat international airport for onwards flight. End of services.
