ITINERARY:
HANOI - MAI CHAU (-/L/D)
DAY 1 Pick up at hotel, depart Hanoi and follow Lang - Hoa Lac road to Mai Chau via Hoa Binh town (150 km) through picturesque scenery with stunning views of the mountains on the way. Lunch in a hill tribe village. Visit Mai Chau in its pretty valley with a patchwork of rice paddies, farms and stilt houses. The area is the home of many ethnic minorities, including the Muong and the Thai.
Option 1: Dinner & accommodation in village houses (sleeping on a mat in a common room; own sleeping bag is recommended). Traditional show with Can Wine in Mai Chau can be arranged at surcharge.
Option 2: Drive back to Hoa Binh for dinner and hotel accommodation at Hoa Binh Hotel.
Option 3:Drive back to Hoa Binh / Bai Chao for dinner and hotel accommodation at V-Resort.
MAI CHAU - HANOI (B/L/-)
DAY 2 Drive to Hoa Binh, take a 2-hour boat trip on Da River Lake with stopovers to visit Dzao and Muong minority villages.
Lunch at Hoa Binh hotel. Drive back to Hanoi. (accommodation in Hanoi not included).

Our tour prices are inclusive of transfers and tours with English or French speaking guide, accommodation in shared twin rooms with air-condition and private bath room, meals as specified in the program (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), entrance fees, boat fees.
Not included are surcharges for other language guides, compulsory gala dinners during festive seasons and peak season surcharges, which will be advised at time of booking.
