ITINERARY
HANOI - THAI BINH - NINH BINH (-/L/D)
DAY 1 Pickup at hotel in Hanoi and drive to Thai Binh to visit the Keo Pagoda with its beautiful bell tower in a quiet village on the Red River Delta. Continue on to Pho Minh tower in Nam Dinh; lunch on road. Proceed to Tam Coc to visit “Halong Bay on land” - the same limestone rocks as in Halong Bay but seen from a winding stream through paddy fields instead of the sea. Enjoy spectacular scenery during the boat trip to Tam Coc caves. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda. Dinner and overnight at simple hotel in Ninh Binh.
TAM COC - CUC PHUONG - HOA BINH (B/L/D)
DAY 2 Visit Dinh and Le dynasty temples. Drive to Cuc Phuong National Park for easy 3-hour trekking. Lunch en route. Continue driving to Hoa Binh. Dinner and overnight at simple hotel.
HOA BINH - MAI CHAU - HANOI (B/L/-)
DAY 3 Drive to Mai Chau in its pretty valley with a patchwork of rice paddies, farms and stilt houses. The area is the home of many ethnic minorities, including the Muong and the Thai. Lunch en route. Drive back to Hanoi (accommodation in Hanoi not included).

Our tour prices are inclusive of transfers and tours with English or French speaking guide, accommodation in shared twin rooms with air-condition and private bath room, meals as specified in the program (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), entrance fees, boat fees.
Not included are surcharges for other language guide, compulsory gala dinners during festive seasons and peak season surcharges, which will be advised at time of booking.
